One Big Pop-Gun is the second book in a series written by Fanny, who is known as Aunt Fanny to her readers. This book was originally published in 1864 and tells the story of a young boy named Harry who receives a big pop-gun as a gift from his grandfather. Harry is thrilled with his new toy and spends much of his time shooting it, much to the annoyance of his family and neighbors. However, when a group of boys from a rival town come to challenge Harry to a pop-gun shooting contest, Harry must use his skills to defend his honor and win the competition. Along the way, Harry learns valuable lessons about sportsmanship, friendship, and the importance of practice and dedication. This charming children's book is full of colorful illustrations and engaging characters, making it a delightful read for kids of all ages. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
