Cameroon's history is replete with cases of monumental blunders. They are social, political, moral, cultural, etc. Some of them are as follows: the Foumban Conference Fiasco; the closure of State corporations; poor education orientation or priorities; the neglect of education based on local languages; the presence of occult groups; the unreasonable and unilateral change of the country's name; personality cult in opposition parties; treachery in terms of opposition party alliances, cooperation, etc; the neglect of training in civil society organizations and the unsatisfactory reaction of the Francophone public to the Anglophone Crisis. There is need for the various political actors in Cameroon to judiciously focus on these blunders for the sake of taking Cameroon to the world of emergence.
