This volume contains Karel Čapek's novel, The Absolute at Large (first published in 1922). It is a science fiction novel that centres round the discovery of a mysterious new source of energy that utterly transforms society as we know it. It was hailed by R. D. Mullen as one of the genuine masterpieces of Science Fiction.
