As Huck and Jim drift down the river, they meet many new people and experience great adventures. Huck and Jim build a remarkable and strong friendship. Seeing that Jim is a good man, Huck is having an internal struggle and discomfort about what he was being taught: that helping a runaway slave is a sin.
