Music is an intricate blend of harmony, melody, rhythm and timbre. There are hundreds of definitions for music and everyone has his/her own variation. It is a permutation of sounds and silences in a systematized way. The definition might sound very humble but it is not something apparent. For example take an alarm clock that emanates sounds and silences in an orderly way but most will not consider this as music. There is much more to music which goes beyond our explanation. There is a different dimension to it. The dimension could be designated as something sensual and should be only communicated in its propinquity. This immediacy is erased once it is put across in definition or words making it inaccessible by means of language. This something in music can only be articulated by music. The minute it is tried to express through language, its ethnicity vanishes.
