After Alligatro returns from flying Piton Python back to Burma, he finds his friend Annie in a sad state. When he asks her why, she tells him that a prison made out of tents and cages has been built near her home in Ochopee, Florida. The prison is called, Alligator Alcatraz, and many of the people kept there haven't done anything wrong. The living conditions are hot and crowded and inhumane. She and her family are busy making signs for an upcoming protest. Alligatro decides to get busy and organize his own resistance using his friends, the animals in the Everglades.
This book is meant to connect parents and children by encouraging discussions on laws and politics and also to tip the balance toward eliminating for-profit prisons disguised as border protection.
