The poems and short stories featured in the book have dealt with myriad genres: fantasy, mythology, slice of life, magic realism, and so much more. Yet all of it has one similar undercurrent running through - that familiar existential angst that the modernists talked about, but only of the men. What remained, over the years, was the identity crisis of the women but with no words to define it. This anthology, even though a drop in the vast ocean, is an humble attempt to try, uncover and represent the anxiety, fear, rage and the 'WOMAN question', to which our readers will hopefully be able to relate. While walking the road from the Mundane to the Political, this anthology's main aim, therefore, was to carve out a narrative that is not just for women, but ultimately for everyone.
