This book addresses and describes the phenomenon of teacher anxiety. First, a literature review explores the extent to which the topic of teacher anxiety has already been researched, particularly in German-speaking countries. Next, the areas of anxiety and stress behaviour among teachers are described and explained theoretically. The focus here is on medical and physiological processes. Furthermore, guidance counsellors (n=14) are examined for stress and anxiety components. The evaluation is carried out using individually created profiles that describe and connect all test subjects. An exemplary case study rounds off the investigation. The results are preferably presented and discussed in standard values (SV) and percentile ranks (PR).
