A thirty year old unsolved murder case that is connected to a notorious jewelry robbery falls into the laps of The Shadow Club and they all find this investigation to be irresistible. There could be diamonds involved as well. Against better judgement, the four young men and their girlfriends unanimously decide to begin looking into this fascinating case, in spite of the obvious evidence that the mafia was originally behind everything.
After making a great deal of progress and then realizing that the inherent danger also included their families, the kids decide to hand their evidence and their investigation over to their new friend who happens to be a Special agent in the FBI. Although they have mostly backed out of their research, they are all still secretly looking for the fabled diamonds. Seth has deep misgivings about the wisdom of this choice though. He fears that the siren song of diamonds might become a wedge that could destroy his friendships.
