Dr. John Pratt earned a Ph.D. in Astronomy in 1976 from the University of Arizona. He thinks he has been able to pinpoint the exact date of the First Vision as March 26, 1820. How did he arrive at that date? We'll talk about ancient calendars and weather reports that make that date a good possibility.

John is also a descendant of Parley P. Pratt. He's in the First Presidency of the Reborn LDS Church, a group headquartered in Brazil. They believe the Angel Moroni has returned and their prophet has translated part of the sealed portion of the Book of Mormon. Some have called the characters part of a Hofmann forgery. How does John explain that?

I'm sad to report that this turned out to be John's last interview. He passed away on October 12, 2021, from COVID pneumonia. Check out our conversation...
