This is a comprehensive book about pre-Colonial America until modern America. As a history teacher with several college degrees, my goal was to give students access to an actual textbook once again. With access to the whole of human knowledge in their hands most students have never held a history textbook. This book has a focus on the tougher aspects of United States History. I wanted to make sure that history was actually discussed not just the pretty history of the United States but even our less than attractive aspects as well. History is important and those unwilling to learn it are doomed to repeat the same mistakes that our ancestors made.
