After reading Adventures in the Sky, I never look at clouds the same. This is a playful and delightful story!
Smythe uses personification of cloud formations by inventing characters with personality traits. For example, Boomer, the Lightning and Thunder Cloud from Nimbus-Ville, teaches Cambia, all about lightning and thunder. Meanwhile, Cielo learns all about being a snow-making cloud from Zapada, the Big Snow Cloud.
I encourage you to read this charming book with a child or a good friend. I have done so, and it has made a lifelong memory. I also encourage you to become an avid cloud gazer.
