The grand tapestry of Christian doctrine is woven with threads of divine revelation, each strand essential to the integrity of the whole. We are persuaded that the venerable 1611 translation remains the most faithful and authoritative rendering of God's Holy Word available to the English-speaking reader. Therefore, all discussions, all arguments, and all conclusions presented within these pages are derived directly and solely from its hallowed text. We firmly believe that any deviation from the KJV in matters of doctrine risks straying from the pure wellspring of divine truth.
Our target audience comprises devout Christians who hold the King James Version in the highest regard, recognizing its divine inspiration and its supreme authority in matters of faith and practice. These are individuals who value expository preaching, sound biblical scholarship, and a commitment to what the Bible plainly teaches, unvarnished by modern philosophical trends or denominational traditions that lack clear scriptural warrant. They are discerning believers who seek to understand the foundational ordinances of the Church as they were originally instituted by our Lord and His apostles.
This book aims to address fundamental questions: What is the true nature of Baptism? Who is it intended for? What is its proper mode and meaning? We will meticulously trace the institution of Baptism from its prophetic foreshadowing's and New Testament establishment, contrasting it with erroneous doctrines and practices that have unfortunately infiltrated the Church throughout history. We will rigorously examine the biblical texts, employing careful exegesis, to present an unassailable case for the believer's baptism by immersion, understanding it as a profound symbol of identification with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. Furthermore, we will address the vital distinction between water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit and underscore the imperative of obeying Christ's command to baptize all nations, as set forth in the Great Commission. May this study illuminate the truth of this sacred ordinance and encourage faithful obedience to our Savior's timeless command.
