The Battle of the Mind: From Adamic Thinking to the Mind of Christ is a Christ-centered exploration of one of the most misunderstood areas of the Christian life. Rather than approaching the mind as a battlefield to be managed through techniques, discipline, or self-help strategies, this book unveils the mind as a place meant for union, rest, and participation in Christ.
Drawing deeply from Scripture, the book traces the origin of mental conflict to humanity's fall into separation and independent consciousness. It shows how fear, striving, condemnation, and inner turmoil arise not from a lack of effort, but from a misaligned source of life. The gospel is presented not as a method for improving Adamic thinking, but as God's decisive act of ending it through the cross and replacing it with a new humanity in Christ.
Throughout its thirty-two chapters, the reader is guided from the lie that reshaped human perception, through the limitations of religion and self-effort, into the revelation of Christ as God's true thought. The cross is revealed as the judgment of the old consciousness, and the resurrection as the unveiling of a new way of living and thinking-one governed by life and peace rather than anxiety and control.
This book emphasizes revelation over information, beholding over battling, and agreement over striving. It presents the mind of Christ not as an ideal to be attained, but as a present reality given through union with Christ.
