Its claws sliced cloth-but found only flow. The Master breathed, and the attack was swept aside like a falling petal in the current of a stream. The creature was carried backward, expelled into the dark it came from.
a playful, poetic journey, written as an artist,
as a teacher,
and as someone facing a rather difficult chapter in life. For years, I dreamed of creating a meditation center-
a space for mysticism, art, and peace.
But life had other plans. So I turned to story.
To imagination.
And to the idea of a sloth-not just any sloth,
but a Zen Master,
patient and powerful,
teaching not with words,
but with stillness. What began as a simple mascot
grew into a world. A cartoon.
A book.
A whisper of something larger still. The Book of Kiwaniwa is not a real book -
all that appear in it are phantoms.
Yet somehow, they speak. They form a collection, a mythos, a mirror -
for anyone walking a path between stillness and shadow. This little book was written with a touch of A.I.,
but more importantly:
it was written with joy.
And I hope, wherever you are,

and The Musings of a Zen Master Monster Hunter.
