They have a lot of fun together with their friends, so much fun that their Mum sometimes looks very tired. Bobby's two best friends are Elmer and Vincent. These three are always up to something. And that something often involves playing tricks on Zena and her two friends, the twins Connie and Lily. Connie and Lily live two houses down from Bobby and Zena and the chums are always popping back and forth to see each other, using their own secret path along the side of the field. The first story in the Bobby and Zena series is of the time when they together with their freinds were guests of a famous French master chef on his morning television show.
