This handbook is written for ordained Christian leaders serving as wedding officiants in the State of California, especially those who have completed the free Wedding Officiant course through Christian Leaders Institute and become ordained through the Christian Leaders Alliance. This is not a generic wedding book. It is a ministry-focused resource for officiants who desire biblical faithfulness, practical preparation, and responsible service in California's diverse wedding environment. This handbook provides educational and ministry-oriented guidance on commonly accepted California wedding officiant practices. It is not legal advice. Always verify current requirements with the county clerk or issuing authority in the California county where the marriage license is obtained and where the ceremony will occur.
