When Chester finds himself home alone often because his wife Abigail is doing extensive traveling for her company business, he happens to be walking by a pet shop and discovers a Pup he named Brooklyn while watching a TV show later that day. When Duke Tinktar needs to offload some of his responsibilities to spend more time with the emperor as he was designated heir to the throne, Chester is chosen to fill in for some of that activity because of his perceived neutrality and no ties to domestic agenda's.
Chester receives vast training as a spy and is deployed and experiences several clandestine activities and finally Brooklyn is brought along for one of the missions and becomes a hero and receives a high reward directly from the emperor himself.
This story is about how an earth person and his talking dog transcend into the new life in an Alien civilization and play important roles in great action that tests their abilities to the bitter limit and how the talking dog and his papa Chester grow closer together doing incredible journeys that only a talking dog could help develop. It also conveys the notion of how such a talking dog could impact a marriage. Talking Dog research is actually occurring and the feasibility of talking dogs becomes more probable in the next 10 years. Are you ready to have your dog talk to you?
