Tim is a brown donkey who lives in a lovely green meadow with other animals. He loves Fay and Don who are his great friends. His burning ambition is to win the donkey race and get the big shiny trophy as the prize. He starts the race in fine form but discovers halfway through that an obstacle is in his way. His quick decision and good judgment save the day and the race. He gets into a pickle later when he gets stuck in a stream, but with help from friends he is rescued. The story's theme is that dreams can come true with practice and some help. It shows how obstacles can be overcome with a little foresight.
