This book, The Finger of God, teaches us to understand the call of God and the power behind that call. It is an exposition on the mighty hand of God as demonstrated through Moses when God sent him to deliver the children of Israel from bondage. The book further explains why God does not always use the mighty, the eloquent, or the noble to fulfill His assignments and purposes. The Finger of God provides insight into the supernatural occurrences in the land of Egypt and their significance. It also reveals how the enemies of God's children were subdued through the finger of God. Slavery is an injustice and an inhumane treatment of God's masterpiece-man. Thus, the cry of the oppressed and afflicted culminated in the fulfillment of God's promise to Abraham. The essence of The Finger of God is to bring deliverance to God's children and magnify the Lord before Pharaoh. The reader is invited to experience God's manifested power in the land of Egypt and the victory over Pharaoh's magicians and sorcerers. The book provides insight into miracles and the supernatural (Exodus 8:16-19). The Finger of God also highlights the challenges and opposition to God's mission, while showing how God remains faithful to those who obey His call. It serves as an excellent study resource for church leaders, workers, Bible study groups, and anyone who feels discouraged or frustrated as a result of being obedient to God's call on their life.
