The novel is set in a post-apocalyptic world where civilization has been destroyed by a cataclysmic event. Throughout the story, themes of hope, resilience, and the power of human connection in the face of adversity are explored, as Liam and Anya find strength in their love for each other and their newfound family of fellow survivors.
