Archie Pringle just wanted to settle into his new suburban street. But Sycamore Close isn't just a neighbourhood-it's a high-security zone run by the Neighbourhood Watch, led by the terrifyingly efficient Mrs. Mildred Grantham (NW Coordinator).

Their rules are everything: bins must be aligned to the degree, hedges must be precisely 1.5m tall, and garden ornaments cannot exceed 45cm in height.

Archie's crime? Leaving his skateboard on the pavement for ninety-three seconds.

After his property is confiscated and wrapped in clear plastic, Archie teams up with cynical strategist Phoebe and reluctant inside man Dev to fight back. Their mission is not to break the rules, but to expose how ridiculous they are by pushing them to their breaking point.

The Watch calls it a spiritual violation of community standards. Archie calls it war.

The battlefield? The annual Summer Social. The weapon? An army of perfectly legal, 44-centimetre garden gnomes.
