An interweaving story of two periods of time in Calpe, Spain. The first around the 1980s when a couple, Mike and Juliana, travel to Calpe for a first holiday; the second period in 2022 when they revisit the same area to unwind what happened 40 years earlier. The visit to Calpe is inspired by Maria, who works with Juliana. It creates tension with Maria's boyfriend Paul. During a climb up the iconic Calpe rock - the Penon de Ifach - Paul dies falling from the Penon. Paul is later discovered to have also been shot. In 2022 Juliana wants to revisit Calpe and it becomes apparent that she is wanting to understand more about what happened years before

Juliana is working with a man who has an interest in Paul and his death. Mike knows that Juliana is returning to Calpe for a specific reason and he feels forced to go along with it though it is a part of his life he wants to forget.
