The Caribbean Worship and Devotional Study (CWDS) Bible is a contemporary english version Bible with an opening rhythmic memorization verse and quotes and prayers.
The WORSHIP INTRODUCTION n to every chapter reads in many cases like the verse or refrain of a song and it captures the main theme, text and spirit of the chapter in a manner that aids memorization and introduces a theme that in many cases is woven into the chapter to make the chapter come alive as a story and stays alive in the memory as the text.
THE CWDS BIBLE QUOTES at the end of every chapter combined with the prayers(see below), make each chapter of the CWDS Bible a complete devotional. Some quotes are basic notes while others are so deep and profound it will make the reader take a second look at the scripture and pause for deep meditation
SERMON PREPARATION: Those who prepare sermons or exhortations will find that any quote can lead to a complete sermon. Example Quote#10 of Genesis 2: You will be amazed at what the Lord can bring out of you if you will rest in His hands.
PRAYERS: The CWDS Bible completes the devotional experience of each chapter with prayers formed from the passage and quotes and thus putting the lessons into practice. There are so many prayers that can be prayed from every chapter of the Bible, both personal and intercessory and we at the CWDS Bible encourage you to read the entire Bible and pray. Write your own prayer emphasis and pray, pray, pray. Pray your way through the Bible and pray the Bible throughout your way. It will change your life completely. THE CWDS Bible is a prayer book.To maximize the experience: i. Associate each prayer with the scripture passage to attract the faith of precedence and acknowledge spiritual relevance. ii. State the prayer point audibly. iii. Seal each prayer by praying in the Spirit or just praising for about 60 seconds.
THE CHILDREN AND FAMILY DEVOTIONAL Parents will find that any chapter is a complete family devotion. Read through a book with your children, three to five chapters daily and you will be surprised at their understanding and appreciation of the word after this exercise.
