A chapbook of more than 30 poems about mental trauma, grieving and loss, written after finding out my mother, from whom I was estranged and with whom I was trying to reconcile, was diagnosed with dementia, stealing that opportunity from me.

This is a collection of poems I wrote when I found out she was diagnosed, expressing my raw, painful emotions that we will never fully reconcile; at one time she was my best friend until my mental illness got the better of me and I tried to overdose, triggering our estrangement.

It's also helping me cope with my mental health during this period.

The poems are raw and emotional, but directly from my heart.

This collection of poetry is part of my healing.
