往事過烟雲，今已耋老人，生活多少事，點滴望留痕。
自序
吾非學文，亦從未認真學過平仄及音韻格調，不曾登堂，何敢言詩詞！然歌謎詞賦，平素所愛 ，惜指引乏人，只靠自行摸索，未諳創作之道。七十歲退休前，因工作忙碌，無暇他顧，偶有吟咏習 作嘗試，均隨寫隨棄，並未收藏留稿。退休後，教研生涯完全結束，東風重拂，白髮逢春， 野翁心熱，常與和余背景相同老友對古典文學有興趣者互相唱和，聊志訴情， 又對世事或有感懷，遂握斑管，輯成此集，以留紀念。明知雪泥鴻爪，轉眼無痕，然敝 帚之賞，亦可解老年一時之悶，親朋後人翻閱，權作念我，醜陋在所不計也。如此而已，豈有他哉？

未曾入室寫詩詞，林泉消閑且為之，紀錄耄齡點滴事，梗概留後庶可知。
