◎第一章 楔子◎
禱告是基督徒生活中的必需，但是對禱告的認識和實行，眾多基督徒之間卻有很大的不同。少數的共同點之一是：大家都會背誦主禱文-- 主耶穌教導門徒如何禱告的內容。但是除了在主日崇拜中一起背誦外，很少聽到有人照著這內容來禱告。是 主耶穌在基督徒最重要的需要上講了一段廢話？

基督徒自己把它當作了廢話而置之不理？
這就是本書要討論的。
