Eva didn't want to believe it, but there was no doubt anymore in her mind. People should be afraid of her. She doesn't remember much of her past, and the parts she does remember, she wished she didn't. Should the Fates have given her a second chance? Maybe she was better off locked away. What would the Jebrows think of her if they knew? There was only one person she trusted with the truth.
So many questions, yet so little answers. After hearing a prophesy, Jace is determined to discover the prophesy's meaning. His party of one has turned into two. Who knew the journey would bring unsuspected changes and discoveries? He should have never doubted Eva. She was one of a kind, and he was starting to realize, no one could compare to her. Was he willing to follow his heart? Only the Fates would know.
Child Prophesy is the first book in the Might series. Eva, taken into captivity at the tender age of three, is found in an old watch tower where she endured torture for eight years. She is put into the care of the esteemed Mayor Jebrow. While there, she befriends the mayor's son Jace and with his help and the rest of the Jebrow family, she gains strength and abilities start to emerge. Tension continues to build in Hockland with the threat of children with Might being taken into the tyrant Brosch's ranks. Filled with uncertainty, Jace and Eva journey to find the truth fifteen years after the Great War, a war where Brosch led his armies through the land, killing anyone who stood in his way. Only one group could possibly stand up to the tyrant. Jace and Eva stumble upon this group, the Rens, in search of the truth about a child who is prophesized to be the one to save them all.
