Foday traveled from his village to a missionary school where he befriended a young boy, faced tragedy, helped the school children celebrate holidays and met Grandma B. Grandma B, as the kids called her because they couldn't pronounce her last name, could have retired after the death of her husband. Instead this mother of five decided to share her love and the Good News in another country. She applied to the missionary board and was assigned to the Kabala Rupp Memorial school where missionary children from all over Africa boarded for the school year. Grandma B helped Foday learn to cook. He invited her to his village to share the Gospel story. Based upon the colorful letters Grandma B wrote to her daughter Clara Mae in the United States, Clara Mae decided to write Just One Hill.
