This epic tale follows Valmir, a captain trying to defend his city of Cartune against otherworldly evil that threatens to consume all of Qitone (Mother/Earth). When a mysterious cloaked rider arrives with an omen of impending ruin, Valmir descends into ancient caverns below the city seeking to unlock their forgotten secrets and turn the tide.
Deep underground, he encounters a disfigured man consumed by bitterness over past betrayals, who warns of a great evil buried beneath the land itself. But upon returning to the surface, Valmir discovers the rider has already sown chaos in Cartune, turning citizens against their rulers with dark magic.
Valmir flees the bloodstained streets with a small band of survivors, only to find worse horrors stalking them each night - supernatural entities that steal away victims one by one. Aided by the wise monk Dunstan, Valmir seeks safe haven beyond the shadowed borderlands of the kingdom.
But the seductive dark lord Tesa ensnares Valmir in a deceitful vision, promising him power and kingdom if he will submit to her desires. Only by rejecting this temptation can Valmir save his people from her sinister grasp.
Tesa and Tesar are of the 7 who plauging Qitone and the Sauin invaders who defile the plains with their mystery of armored war beast, the flying masses breathing chaos and pitiless soldiers.
Climactic are the battles, Valmir and his allies discover compassion and sacrifice are the only means to break Tesa and Tesar's hold, defeating their forces to win a cleansing victory. For a time afterward, justice and hope seem ascendant.
But when the next wave of the extraterrestrial Sauin arrives to finally eradicate humanity, Valmir must journey into the ancient holy mountain at the heart of the world, guided by secrets unlocked below Cartune. There he gains the power to turn back even this implacable alien menace.
With mystic forces rallied, Valmir helps defeat the Sauin, sending their ships plummeting in flames. Yet some darkness lingers, demanding vigilance. For evil ever seeks footholds anew. Only steadfast devotion to the Light can ever fully banish the shadows that haunt mortality's fragile kingdoms. And stalwart souls must take up that eternal burden.
