This book, which is made of 5 brief chapters, has been written in order to teach children how to draw characters, animals and objects in cartoon version. In the first pages there are some advices which help the readers with the purchase of the instruments required for this activity. After that, it is explained how to get inspired by an example picture (the balloon fish one) by observing its shape and to reinterpret the same one by drawing it following the steps showed. The guide includes some exercises which can be done following the steps showed and using colored pencils and felt tip pens. As a matter of fact, the aim of the guide is to help children to get an approach to drawing through exercise and perseverance in order to get an appreciable result. Because the guide is not easily understandable for smaller children, the support of an adult is required.
