A Course of Love came to its first receiver, Mari Perron, as thoughts she did not think. Although it is a complete work in itself, it identifies itself as being a continuation of the earlier A Course in Miracles. The two courses complement each other. A Course of Love says: Where the original Course in Miracles was a course in thought reversal and mind training, a course to point out the insanity of the identity crisis and dislodge the ego's hold, this is a course to establish your identity and to end the reign of the ego.
