Nowa Arktreshia was born and raised in Snowden, a rural unincorporated community in Mount Pleasant, SC, Nowa Arktreshia grew up in a world that felt anything but secure. Her childhood was strange-happiness was not something she remembers holding onto. Instead, it was shaped by experiences no child should have to endure.
Her debut book, The Crown And The Scars, was born from heartbreak. Writing was not just a creative outlet. It was a necessity. It became her way of reclaiming her story, of transforming pain into power. Through these pages, she isn't just sharing her truth-she is giving others the courage to do the same. She hopes readers will walk away not only understanding her better but also realizing they have the strength to tell their own stories.
