Dance of Soccer is an inspiring story of Emily-a young girl who dreams of becoming the best soccer player on her team-the Amigos, a promising girls' team from Cincinnati.
To achieve this goal Emily must overcome one challenge after another. She meets a Chinese girl, Ming, who is an equally talented player with a wry sense of humor. Together Emily and Ming deal with racial slurs, rough and rowdy boys who cause a leg injury to Emily, and some girls on the Amigos team who could be a little more polite.
Ming's father, Dr. Yang, is an acupuncturist and quite a philosopher. He treats Emily's leg injury with acupuncture to prepare her for the greatest challenge of her young soccer career-to meet and beat the toughest and most winning girls' soccer team in Ohio-the Terminators.
