Sheletta Brundidge is an Emmy Award-winning comedian, media personality, and reality television star. Her son Daniel was nonverbal until he was four years old and began humming the hit song Old Town Road by best-selling singer Lil Nas X. The clip of Sheletta's son was uploaded to Twitter where it quickly went viral getting 2 million hits and garnering the attention of national media. Sheletta's been featured in People magazine and USA Today and has appeared on Good Morning America, The Tamron Hall Show, The Steve Harvey Show, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Appearing on Chip and Joana Gaines' new Magnolia Network, Sheletta will use Daniel Finds His Voice to educate parents of special needs children about the power of music therapy and music education. Sheletta has also partnered with music schools in Minnesota, Texas, and Louisiana to give away hundreds of free copies of her new picture book to therapists and teachers to help create autism awareness.
Darcy Bell-Myers has loved to draw since she was a little girl. She lives with her husband and three children, who also love to draw, in Stillwater, Minnesota. As the mom of a child on the autism spectrum, Darcy has experienced the struggles and superpowers of these remarkable kids firsthand. The illustrator of books that include Shiva's Dance; Needles: The First Christmas Tree; Mary Emma, Walk!; Wyatt's Big Day; and Higgledy Piggledy, she's also the author/illustrator of The Animal Babies ABC Book of Ballet.
