Days Gone Dry is a novel written by Frederick Landis and published in 1919. The story is set in the American West during a period of drought and follows the struggles of a small town and its inhabitants as they try to survive in the harsh conditions. The main character, John Cameron, is a rancher who is determined to keep his land and animals alive despite the lack of water. Along the way, he faces challenges from greedy businessmen, corrupt politicians, and a gang of outlaws who are taking advantage of the drought to carry out their criminal activities. As the situation becomes more desperate, John must find a way to unite the town and overcome their differences in order to save themselves and their way of life. The novel explores themes of community, resilience, and the human spirit in the face of adversity. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
