The Dolphin of Silverwax Bay is a short story about a dolphin born on enchanting lands. An adventure cum fable with poetry in parts, it is a modern tale of how one discovers where they belong. Nica, the young dolphin, is born on the beaches of Silverwax Bay. Guided by Rockfoot, the wise old tortoise, Nica befriends three young animals who help teach her the ways and values of the animal folk who inhabit the Bay. But Nica soon questions whether she belongs with those who surround her and has dreams of exploring the great ocean.
