The Klamath Story is a 10-chapter overview of human and natural history of the Upper Klamath Basin, written for a student audience in local elementary, middle and high schools. Chapter topics in this 55-page book include geology, Native American tribes, early explorers and settlers, the Modoc War, agriculture, logging and lumbering, federal lands, World War II, and the effects of change. The author is Todd Kepple, manager of the Klamath County Museum. Each of the 10 chapters was reviewed by at least one subject matter expert. There are 48 historic and contemporary photographs.
