This adventure follows Edward, a young Little Engineer with a penchant for high-tech gadgets, and his companion Zylah, a silver-skinned (or green-skinned) stone-speaker from another realm. Together with the legendary archaeologist Howard Carter, they delve into the heart of an ancient, mystical Egyptian tomb.
The team navigates a tomb filled with secrets, using Edward's Sonic Brush to trigger ancient mechanisms-such as a hidden door activated by a cat drawing on the wall.
In the Sun-King's Treasury, they encounter a golden pedestal shaped like a coiled snake holding a Golden Key and battle the formidable giant serpent, Uraeus. Edward utilizes his Frost-Flare Slinger to combat the mythical beast.
They reach a chamber of white sand where they find a weary, faceless Mummy. By returning a breathtaking Golden Mask with lapis lazuli eyes to him, the team restores the Mummy to his true form: a proud, radiant King.
Grateful for their kindness, the King grants Edward a Magic Scarab, a clockwork guide designed to lead them not to where they are, but to where they are needed most.
The story concludes with Edward and Zylah boarding the Tom Thumb, a steampunk locomotive. Guided by the scarab and a holographic chart, they leave the City of Lost Kings behind to head toward their next destination: the Gravity Gardens.
