We do a better job than anyone else of providing for ourselves and our families because we have a better system. The reason it is better is that it is based on freedom, our natural human state. Our system is called capitalism. Everything we have in this country--all that we have in this country--has come from working Americans. From us. We are the real thinkers, the doers, the innovators. Employers in the private sector, especially new companies just starting up and small and medium-sized companies when they grow and expand, are the job creators. The role of government in a democracy is to protect our freedom, not to manage our lives for us. It is essential for Americans to understand all of this.
