Why I Journey, Poetry, and Reflections personally written during a time in Sybil's life when she experienced such a transitioning, learning and gleaming from her spiritual journey with God. The heart of the book revolves around Sybil's personal experiences and challenges in life, which she candidly shares with readers. Through her stories, she explores the idea that life can sometimes feel like an uncertain path, but by embracing God's guidance, we can find our way and discover blessings in unexpected places. She is a retired NYC elementary school teacher, former Afterschool Program Director in East New York Middle School, and business owner and Founder of JGP Jumping Praising Glory Program for the youth.
The book is filled with moments of reflection, Bible verses, and practical advice on how to connect with God and find purpose in one's life. This book will leave readers inspired to pick up their Bibles and find their own path to a positive spiritual journey that will promote a divine supernatural change. Why i Journey is the beginning of me submitting and understanding the fact that I cannot do this life (journey) by myself! Yes we have our family and friends. but the real question is Do I have Jesus in my life? When I finally decided to say YES, to a journey I had no idea how much pain and hurt it would be, yet I am so grateful that I did. It was not easy at first, but today I will tell anyone if you have not taken that journey, you need to seriously think about it, and I am praying that those who read Why I Journey will do just that take that journey with the Father. Why I Journey is exactly what is require for all of those who are broken and ready to allow that supernatural change to take place. It is for those who finally realize that this world we live in if you are not in the right place with Jesus you can wander in the wilderness for another 40 years. It is for those who have that mustard of seed faith to continue on even though it doesn't look good. It is for those who are ready and willing to stand up against those things that are not like our Father. It is for those who are ready to lay down the things of this world and for once have that intimate relationship with our Father that he so desires for each of us. Why I Journey expresses why the Bible is key to our life. When I began my bible studies I was told as I continue to read and be consistent with my studies there will always be a different meaning. What that means is the spirit leads us in what we need, and it is up to us to be obedient. I realized the Bible is not only a book, but it is the only way we can be in commune with the Father. As you take your own journey you will recover many things you want to keep hidden because of the pain or shame but I will tell you that the scriptures will bring healing, they will bring a renew you, they will bring purpose!!! Why I Journey is now able to be release and share after many attempts of discouragements and challenges. Fear was removed and obedience took over. Truly I say healing took place in me as the words were given to be written for others to not only read but by sharing my story can help others relate and hopefully take that leap of faith to the life we were created for. Understanding that man is not in control of your purpose...Understanding that I am not of this world...Understanding that I am just passing through...Understanding that this is bigger than me...Understanding that all things are possible with Christ... Why I Journey allows you to submit or resubmit yourself to our father. It allows an opportunity for one to bring all their troubles, fears, worries and brokenness to the best friend we ever could have!!!!!! Why I Journey is the beginning of submitting to the facts...and understanding that I could not do this life (journey) alone. Also in
