Technological resources are currently being used to improve epidemiological control systems in various countries around the world. In the city of Rio Claro/SP, developer and former information systems student Marcelo Luna has produced a web-based decision-support system for combating dengue fever, where the project seeks to demonstrate the management of combat teams in the places with the highest incidence of cases. This work seeks to provide visual improvements and access to information for the population. The original system was developed using data mining techniques. The aim of the current work is to present data entered by the population itself showing possible breeding sites of the Aedes Aegypti vector and to update the system to the current standard of web development. The work required training in languages such as HTML 5, CSS 3 and PHP, as well as the use of the MySQL database. In practice, the localisation of mosquito breeding sites makes it easier for public agents to combat them, as each team can be deployed for more effective work.
