8000- The world population is estimated around eight million people. In this millennium global temperatures rise, it is the so-called OPTIMAL HOLOCENE PERIOD, which covers up to 6000 BC, recording the maximum temperatures of the Holocene. In the north of Greenland there is evidence of the disappearance of the ice, the level of the oceans increases, in the north of Africa begins the desertification process that will give rise to the SAHARA, causing the displacement of local populations towards areas that offer better living conditions: the Nile River, the Mediterranean coasts or the African interior. In the Nile Valley the invaders mix with the native population introducing their culture and new agricultural techniques, giving rise to the Egyptian civilization. The Near East enters a new period of tropical climate with abundant rains, increasing the number of inhabitants in the region, an intense trade develops between the numerous villages, and the village of Tell Asward emerges in the Damascus oasis: pea cultivation, Lentils and barley. China: the cultures of the Yellow River valley become sedentary, domestication of the pig. Vietnam: HOA BINH CULTURE is born. Japan: in the Jomon culture there are significant and original advances with respect to other human groups. These nascent Japanese, coming from Northeast and Southeast Asians, arriving at the islands in different periods, are tribal groups that gradually relegate the Ainu to the island of Hokkaido. They live in semi-underground houses with a thatched roof, inhabited by a family nucleus and built in interior places, although these settlements are abandoned in favor of coastal sites when the weather demands it.
