Australia is a land of contradictions as are its people. We live in a land of immense deserts and surrounded by seas. We are a land with vast forests but most of us live in the city. We are an easy going but inventive people. This book hopes to encompass some of these facets of Australian life. I haven't written a book for tourists but I am sure that it will be of great interest to those who would like to spend some time in Australia. By writing many stories about ordinary Australian people and their misadventures, one can understand a little of what it means to be an Australian.
