This is special re-print edition of the 1st edition of James C. Lyell's legendary book Fancy Pigeons. Published in 1881, this is considered the definitive work of the 19th Century on Domestic Pigeons and covers numerous breeds which were known in England at the time. This edition was heavily illustrated with line drawings, as well as 31 full page black and white plates. Original copies of this book are extremely rare and often sell for thousands of dollars. Note: This edition is a perfect facsimile of the original edition and is not set in a modern typeface.
