WHERE IS THE FEAR OF THE LORD IN THE MODERN CHURCH?
I published this Meditation book hoping to create in the Heart of God's people a Revelation of the FEAR of the Lord! I am deeply concerned for many in the Body of Christ who claim that they know Jesus Christ, yet there seems to be none or very little of the FEAR of the Lord in their daily conduct or life style! It is as if the fear of the Lord has departed from the modern-day church! The book of Isaiah says: Isaiah 33:18 Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers? Go back and read all the warnings from the Apostle Paul in the New Testament to the Saints. Acts 13:26Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent. Acts 20:31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. 2 Corinthians 7:1Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
