These kittens were all a part of kitten rescue with a local animal shelter and came to Susan Jones as young as one day old. Photographing them as they grew and learned to maneuver their world was rewarding.
The hand-colored black and white images show a juxtaposition of ideas through playful text. There is one set of opposites per spread but you just might see more than one pair of opposites portrayed!
The adorable kittens not only introduce the early learning concept of opposite; they provide a launch pad for teaching about homeless animals and their care.
