Fun in the Fields
Findley leaves the forest and wanders into a wide, golden field where the wheat sways and whispers in the wind. There, he meets a friendly scarecrow Tom, with a patchy coat, a wobbly hat and a big, warm smile. They spend the day singing, telling magical stories, crafting a twirly wind vane from feathers, twigs and spoons and cleaning up litter

The next morning, Findley helps a hedgehog family move their muddy home to higher ground and learns how small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Before he leaves, Tom gives him a special gift, a little pouch of flower seeds to plant wherever he travels, so kindness can grow along his journey. With a happy heart and a promise to return in the autumn, Findley sets off again, ready for whatever adventures await.

Findley at the Seaside
Findley reaches the seaside. The salty air tickles his nose and seagulls call overhead. He meets Ingolf, a kind fisherman with a big beard and an even bigger heart. Ingolf teaches him to tie knots, read sea maps and understand the sea. Findley makes abravery shell, as a reminder to be strong.

A storm sweeps in and Findley watches Ingolf secure his boat, learning that it's not just knowing a skill, it's knowing when and how to use it. Findley helps clear the beach of rubbish, keeping sea creatures safe from harm. With the sound of the waves in his ears and his bravery shell close to his heart, Findley builds a small rock tower to thank the sea before setting off once again, stronger, prouder and braver than before.
