If educated people tell uneducated folk people what they do not know, people will be educated. It is not possible to educate folk people by bringing books to school, teaching grammar, literature, geometry and whatever. Most of the folk people were illiterate. From Buddhadev to Sri Chaitanya, folk have been educated through lectures for a long time. Bankimchandra said that uneducated folk people will be educated once educated people know what they know. Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore wrote that the two simple ways of imparting folk education in our country have been practised for a long time: Yatra and Kathakata. Today, education has diversified -- not all teachings can be taught through mythology alone. In that case, it is necessary to spread such knowledge among the folk people who are deprived of education. Nowadays, folk societies are using technology every minute. It is challenging to summarise the role of information and communication technology in the progress of civilisation. Now, we need to acquire sufficient skills in using technology in addition to all necessary tasks. Moreover, it is impossible to keep pace with the progress of the future world.
