Welcome to my universe, I share with you this moment of intimacy from the past life and the present one. I have come back here, as a woman, to share with you, without taboo, this poetry inspired by my loves, my pains, my relationships. It is something bigger than me and I experience it as a liberation in this duality that is part of life and to which we are all confronted. Dive into this journey tinged with sensuality, depth, bitterness, and love, offering a new vision of the femme fatale. My struggle has always been the vulnerability, fragility, and sensitivity that I see as something right, that must be expressed.

I am that woman who lives through her emotions. I will never understand this restraint in which I have become entangled. Here, there is nothing but emotional experience. As long as I breathe, I expose myself, whether it pleases me or not. I would like to live and feel freely, but revealing myself also frightens me. Relationships today have become a challenge. Even in my writing, I still have the reflex to censor myself. Love, men, and everything else, I did not choose them; they were the ones who traversed me.

Los hombres, el amor y todo lo demás no lo elegí, fue ella quien me atravesó...

Jessica Côté

A native of the Laurentians (Quebec), a medium by birth, I have been practicing this profession for a few years (professional page: Jessica Côté Medium, Facebook). An artist at heart, human and sensitive, I empty my heart: it is my life, my chaos, and everything else, without a specific purpose, that I express through this book. With the total of 28 symbolizing the female lunar cycle, these poems translate my reality of existence. I reveal myself as a woman and an artist of sensitivity, fragility, and the invisible.
